Oh no oh no oh no

I finished the front of the grey cardi, and have therefore remembered why I stopped in the first place. The buttonholes are supposed to be machine-sewn and then cut. God help me, they're supposed to be CUT!!!! What am I going to do?

You can check out some of your LYSs and see if any of them will do finishing work on a commission basis (I have one around here that does just that). That is if you don't have a sewing machine or button holer. But you CAN cut your knitting, I have done so myself quite successfully when my neckline didn't fit right. You just have to be careful. I don't think you should try and hand sew that one. Good luck!
